Raids are boss fights your whole server takes on together. Every week a new raid boss arrives, and everyone in your server sends their card party in to see how much damage they can deal. The harder your server hits, the bigger everyone's rewards!

Getting started

All you need is a party of up to 4 cards. Raids use your attacker party, so pick your strongest team with /cards party set-attacker. If you haven't picked one, Miki sends in your first party. New to cards and parties? The expeditions guide covers pulling cards and building your first party. Raids happen inside a server, so use /raid in any server you share with Miki. You'll see the Pick a Fight menu, listing:

  • 🗡️ The weekly raid boss
  • 💎 The Crystal Treant, but only while one is awake in your server
  • 🎯 The Training Dummy

Press View on a boss to see its details, then Fight boss to send your party in.

How a raid fight works

Raid fights play out automatically, just like duels. Each round, every card and the boss take a turn, and Miki shows you the fight turn by turn. A fight lasts up to 25 turns, or until your party is knocked out. Only damage you deal to the boss itself counts. Some bosses summon helpers to get in your way, and hitting those won't raise your score. When the fight ends you'll see a summary with your Damage dealt, Healing done, Damage mitigated, your party's MVP, and the rewards you earned. Raid bosses use the same battle system as duels, so the dueling guide is a great place to learn about classes and abilities.

The weekly raid boss

A new boss arrives every Monday at 00:00 UTC and stays for the whole week. Everyone in Miki faces the same boss, but each server keeps track of its own damage. Weekly bosses can't be defeated. Instead, it's a race to deal as much damage as possible before the week ends! You can fight the weekly boss once every hour. The cooldown follows you between servers, so fighting in one server means waiting an hour before fighting in another. Check /timers to see when you're ready again.

The bosses

Four bosses take turns, one each week. They all grow stronger as the fight goes on, and every 5 turns they can unleash a powerful finishing move.

Boss Style Watch out for
Tenzin, the Silent Palm Debuffs Drain Palm targets whoever hit hardest last round and weakens their stats. Tenzin also summons Guiding Spirits that drain your cards too. Its finisher, Solemn Shock, hits harder the more you've been drained.
Vâlka, of Thousand Cuts Bleeding Bleeding Edge and Crimson Claws cover your party in bleed stacks, which hurt at the end of every round. Blood Moon doubles every bleed stack and deals damage for each one.
Torazan, the Earthbreaker Area damage Shatter hits your whole party and slows it down. Tiger Form makes Torazan faster and stronger. Cosmic Break smashes everyone and can stun your cards for a turn.
Kurojin, The Blade of the Wind Single target Kurojin gets harder to hit over time and Wind Slash cuts straight through armor. Valley of the Peony marks one card, strips its defenses, and follows up with a devastating blow.

Weekly rewards

Every fight against the weekly boss earns Raid Tokens 🎟️ straight away. The more damage you deal in a single fight, the more you get:

Damage in one fight Raid Tokens
Under 3,000 1
3,000+ 2
7,000+ 3
12,000+ 4
20,000+ 5

Every fight also has a small chance to drop an ability scroll for that week's boss move, like Drain Palm or Wind Slash. When the week ends, Miki mails you a Weekly Raid Rewards package for every server you fought in. Claim it with /mail. It includes:

  • 50 Raid Tokens if you fought 5 or more times in that server.
  • A share of the server pool: your server earns 5 tokens for every 1,000 damage it dealt together, and you get a share based on how much of that damage was yours.

You can earn up to 500 Raid Tokens from each weekly package. Teamwork pays off, so bring your friends!

Champions

  • 🏆 The top damage dealer in each server earns the Guild Raid Champion achievement.
  • 🌍 The top 3 players across all of Miki earn a special title for that week's boss, and first place also earns the World Raid Champion achievement.

The Crystal Treant

Sometimes a raid comes to you! Harvesting crops has a very small chance to wake the Crystal Treant in your field's home server, and harvesting a Crystal Tree always wakes it. When it appears, a Face the Treant button shows up on the harvest so you can jump right in. While the Treant is awake, every farm in that server is locked until it's beaten or leaves. Everyone in the server can fight it with /raid, and you all chip away at the same health bar.

  • Health: 125,000, shared by the whole server
  • Time limit: 1 hour
  • Fights: once per hour, so plan on one fight per Treant

The Treant hides behind Crystal Seedlings, which take every hit aimed at it while they stand. Seedlings explode on your party during their turn, but if you break one first, its explosion hurts the Treant and the other seedling instead. Defeat the Treant within the hour and everyone who fought it gets a Crystal Treant Defeated package in /mail. The more damage you dealt, the bigger your share:

  • 🌿 Up to 6 Crystallite Branches
  • 🌱 Up to 4 Crystallite Tree Saplings
  • 🎟️ Up to 50 Raid Tokens
  • 💎 A rare chance for a Crystallite Gem or a Crystallize ability scroll

If the Treant survives the hour, it withers away and nobody gets rewards, so rally your server! Want a rematch? Cook a Crystallite Tree Sapling into a Crystal Tree seed. The farming guide explains how.

The Training Dummy

The Training Dummy never fights back and never falls. It has no cooldown and gives no rewards, which makes it the perfect place to test a new party and see how much damage it can deal before you take on the real boss.

The raid shop

Spend your Raid Tokens in the Shop, which you can open from the /raid menu.

Item Cost What's inside
Equipment Box 150 tokens One random piece of card equipment. Open it with /cards equipment openbox.
Raid Skill Box 500 tokens One random raid ability scroll. Open it with /inventory lootbox open.

Raid ability scrolls teach your cards a weaker version of a boss's signature move:

Ability What it does
Drain Palm Two quick hits that weaken the target's stats for a few turns.
Crimson Claws Three slashes that make the target bleed.
Shatter Hits every enemy and slows them down.
Wind Slash A magic strike that pierces armor and lowers the target's defenses.
Crystallize Raises your whole party's defenses for 3 turns. Only from the Crystal Treant!

To teach a scroll, open a card with /cards view, go to its abilities, and choose Teach ability.

Quests, achievements and leaderboards

Raids count toward a lot more than tokens:

  • 📜 Quests: daily quests and weekly guild quests sometimes ask you to deal raid damage, either in a single fight or in total. Check /dailyquests and /weeklyquests.
  • 🏅 Achievements: the Raid Damage achievements track your total damage, all the way up to 10 million, and the Raid Attempt achievements track how many raid fights you've taken on.
  • 📊 Leaderboards: the weekly boss view shows the Top members of your server, the Top servers, the Top players across Miki, and the Best fight of the week.

Server managers can hide their server from the Top servers board with /guildconfig raidleaderboard enabled:false.

Tips for new raiders

  • Fight every hour you can. Every fight earns tokens, and 5 fights in a server unlocks the 50-token bonus.
  • Use the Training Dummy to compare parties before your real fight.
  • Read the boss's style. Tanky cards help against Torazan's area damage, while healers can keep up with Vâlka's bleeds.
  • Raid with your server. The server pool grows with everyone's damage, so more raiders means more tokens for everybody.

Good luck, and may your party top the leaderboards! If you have any questions, come say hi in the Miki support server.
